    Is advertising necessary for marketing? This is the counterpart question of the above question. The answer is, ‘Not important. Absolutely crucial!’. Without SEO your online business would vanish from the Internet in due course, unnoticed and invisible to the trillions of customers who surf the Net.


    SEO is the process by which your website will gain higher visibility (sometimes just visibility) with the Internet surfers. When anyone wants something that concerns your website, they use a search engine to get their information. If your website is visible / ranked on the first three pages, then there are great chances that the surfer/ customer steps into your online shop. If not, you lost the opportunity of a sale.


    Keywords relevancy is crucial. The search engines rank, accept, reject, index the website according to the keyword. SEO can never be done without the right selection of keywords. If the keywords are wrong, no matter how much effort is put in writing the best content, submitting articles to the best directories, linking, etc. Without proper search engine optimization your website is invisible on the Net.


    One of The most important factor is to perform a keywords research. Take your time and select unique and relevant keywords that gives constant traffic to your website. SEO is not a one-time business plan. This is an ongoing process, which needs constant tweaking and fine tuning so your website ranking is maintained as high as possible.


    Based upon the ranking that SEO is creating for a website, there would be traffic, linking requests, higher ROI (return on investment), lower per-customer cost, higher profit, brand image, higher retention of customers, etc.
